Your Air Conditioner Is Not a Dehumidifier

Monday, September 14th, 2015

Forgive us if the title of this blog post seems a bit obvious, but the fact of the matter is that many homeowners expect their whole-house air conditioning systems alone to be sufficient for handling the effective dehumidification of their homes. In truth, dehumidification is only a byproduct of the cooling process, and the dehumidification of the air filling your home is not an intended function that your air conditioner is expected to serve. What Is Video Camera Pipe Inspection?

Monday, September 7th, 2015

Considering the vast amount of piping that makes up any given plumbing system, it is unsurprising to discover that water leaks are among the most common of all problems that homeowners encounter with their plumbing systems. The reclusive nature of the pipe can prove to be quite problematic, as, depending upon the size of the leak, it may take homeowners some time to even realize that there is a problem to begin with. If you suspect that you have a leak in your plumbing system, consider scheduling professional video camera pipe inspection in Suffolk, VA. This is just one service that House Call Company excels at.

Celebrating our 13th year in business, House Call Company, Hampton Roads’ premiere HVAC, plumbing, electrical and insulation company, will expand our presence with a storefront location in Chesapeake Square Mall next week.

The storefront at 4200 Portsmouth Blvd, will incorporate details regarding the services House Call Company offers, plus do-it-yourself tutorials for homeowners looking to complete basic home maintenance projects. As a friendly, well-trained group of professionals, we pride ourselves on providing the highest level of customer service, while also offering resources to help homeowners with the upkeep of their investment.

“We are taking our company to the next level with our new location in Chesapeake Square Mall,” said Raymond Walsh, general manager of House Call Company. “Not many HVAC companies will provide these types of resources to homeowners, but we believe it adds value and forges relationships with our customers. That’s what will continue to bring people back to House Call Company.”

The Hampton Roads community is invited to the month long grand opening celebration at the store. It will be open daily and equipped with various supplies on hand for common home maintenance projects. If a customer needs a part for a DIY project, House Call Company will help get it from their DIY Part Counter. If a customer is unsure how to perform a task, their team of experts will give a tutorial and provide instructional handouts.

“We want to help homeowners by being a partner,” added Walsh. “Our new store will allow us to do that in a much bigger way.”
