We’ve all been there. It’s well past closing time, and you notice that you have a plumbing problem on your hands. Oh well, you think, I guess I’ll just have to wait until morning to have this taken care of. Well, if that’s your way of thinking, your thinking is way off! We offer 24-hour plumbing in Portsmouth, VA, and our plumbers are ready to go whenever you may need them—no matter how “inconvenient” that timing may be.
Now, we know what you’re thinking. Oh, sure, they’ll come out and take a look—and then I’ll be left looking at an empty wallet! Don’t worry about that, either. Of course, our plumbers must be compensated for their time, and after hours services are subject to after hours charges. That being said, we’re not looking to gouge you the way that some plumbers—not true 24-hour plumbers!—might. And, when you enroll in our Peace of Mind Priority Membership Club, you can actually do away with those charges altogether.
Okay, But What Constitutes an Emergency?
Let’s say, for some reason, you don’t take advantage of the reduced or eliminated fees that come with our maintenance plan. When is it worth it to bite the bullet and pay those charges? What can wait until morning?
Well, as a general rule, we would say that anything that is really going to inconvenience you or might cause damage to your property constitutes an emergency. A ruptured water line, for instance, is an obvious emergency. However, a broken-down water heater at the start of the weekend is, too. Can you get by without it? Well, sure, but you don’t really want to, right? You use hot water for a lot of purposes throughout your home, and this is a very disruptive problem.
Now, let’s say it’s the middle of the night and you hear your toilet running or your faucet dripping. Are these problems that should be dealt with in a timely manner? Yes, absolutely. Are they problems you really need to contact a plumber at two in the morning about? No, not really. You shouldn’t just continue wasting water indefinitely, but this one can probably wait until morning.
Why Work With True Emergency Plumbers?
Because this is the type of job that you want handled in a quick and efficient manner. This could very well be a stressful situation, such as if you’ve got a burst pipe in the basement. You don’t want to deal with plumbers who are not well-prepared for dealing with the issues you face.
Our plumbers arrive in a timely fashion, and they’ll have a truck full of the materials that they’ll need to handle most problems. If they don’t have what they need on hand, they’ll get it promptly. We are prepared and we are organized, and that can make all the difference in a plumbing emergency situation. Don’t roll the dice in a situation that is already a bit, well, dicey!
