What Is Hydro Jetting?

Chances are that you have, at some point, encountered backed up drains. Perhaps you attempted to clear this drain yourself, either with the use of corrosive chemicals or with a cheap drain auger purchased at your local hardware store. These quick fixes, unfortunately, often wind up resulting in more serious problems, including clogs deep within the drainage system, sometimes all the way down in the sewer line. When this happens, you need the help of a skilled, trained professional. That is why our plumbers are properly trained and equipped for professional hydro-jetting in Suffolk, VA. If  you think that you may be in need of professional hydro-jetting services, call upon the professionals on the House Call Company team.

What Is Hydro-Jetting?

Hydro-jetting is a unique service that only professional plumbers, equipped with the necessary equipment, can offer. Essentially, hydro-jetting entails the insertion of a flexible hose into the sewer line. This hose is topped with a specially designed nozzle, which blows pressurized water back in a 360° pattern. Because of the pressure with which the water is expelled, the materials and debris clinging to the walls of the pipe are blasted away, and are simply flushed down the line as they should have been from the beginning. This helps to get your drain and sewer system back on track, disposing of waste from your home in a clean and hygienic manner once more.

Benefits of Hydro-Jetting

Scheduling professional hydro-jetting services is an outstanding way in which to deal with clogs that are simply beyond the reach or capabilities of more basic tools. Not only is it effective, but the fact that only water is used to clear the pipes means that you don’t have to worry about harsh chemicals damaging them, nor do you have to worry about a negative environmental impact. The pressure of the water could damage your system if the equipment is not used properly, of course, but that won’t be an issue when you work with the skilled professionals on our staff.
