Did You Know Our Plumbers Are Here 24/7?

Monday, December 17th, 2018

24-hourWe’ve all been there. It’s well past closing time, and you notice that you have a plumbing problem on your hands. Oh well, you think, I guess I’ll just have to wait until morning to have this taken care of. Well, if that’s your way of thinking, your thinking is way off! We offer 24-hour plumbing in Portsmouth, VA, and our plumbers are ready to go whenever you may need them—no matter how “inconvenient” that timing may be.

Now, we know what you’re thinking. Oh, sure, they’ll come out and take a look—and then I’ll be left looking at an empty wallet! Don’t worry about that, either. Of course, our plumbers must be compensated for their time, and after hours services are subject to after hours charges. That being said, we’re not looking to gouge you the way that some plumbers—not true 24-hour plumbers!—might. And, when you enroll in our Peace of Mind Priority Membership Club, you can actually do away with those charges altogether.

Hire Professionals Plumbers to Clear Clogs

Monday, September 10th, 2018

plumber-fitting-drain“Well, at least it’s just a clogged drain. Sorry, professional plumbers everywhere. This one’s got my name written all over it!”

Okay, you’re probably not that excited to unclog your drains on your own, but it is something that you can at least handle on your own. Right?

Right?

Not really, no. Sure, if it is a shallow enough drain clog, you may be able to loosen it up and flush it further down the drainage system. You may even be able to remove a big chunk of a clog through the old wire hanger approach. If you want the job done effectively and with lasting results, however, you need to schedule your drain cleaning services in Chesapeake, VA with the pros on our staff. This is especially true when the clog is further down in the drain pipe than you can reach. So read on, and remember that “basic” plumbing services are hardly ever so basic in practice. Contact us when you’re ready to hire professional plumbers you can trust.

House Call Company Gives FREE Flappers in Honor of World Toilet Day

Tuesday, November 17th, 2015

To honor World Toilet Day, House Call Company is offering a special for one free flapper to Hampton Roads homeowners. While supplies last, the promotion will run throughout the month of November.world_toilet_day_infographic (002)

The goal of World Toilet Day is to raise awareness of the roughly 2.4 billion people in the world who don’t have access to a toilet. This year, World Toilet Day falls on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, and will focus on the link between sanitation and nutrition, drawing the world’s attention to the importance of toilets and improved health.

The United Nations wants to bring attention to the cause by encouraging people to take action and help promote the idea that more needs to be done. This is where House Call Company wanted to step in. “We believe we can improve lives by improving homes,” said Raymond Walsh, general manager of House Call Company. “Given the plumbing services we provide homeowners and the worldwide concern for sanitation, we felt like we needed to do something to help spread awareness.”

As such, the experts are running a promotion to help local homeowners reduce water waste due to leaky toilets. If residents notice that their toilet is running, House Call Company will come out and replace the flapper for free.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reports that toilets are by far the main source of water use in the home, accounting for nearly 30 percent of residential indoor water consumption. And roughly 10% of all American homes have water leaks that waste 90+ gallons of water per day!

“Whether it’s helping to provide access to clean water or reducing water waste here locally, we want to empower Hampton Roads residents to conserve their water and give to those in need,” added Walsh.
